Because of recent events in Turkey we chose not to get on our flight to Istanbul. Instead we spent the day rearranging our schedule and traveling to Athens. We are looking forward to seeing Athens in daylight tomorrow. We will continue to monitor events in Turkey since we still hope to sail the islands in the Aegean sea (between Greece and Turkey).

That was EXACTLY what I had to do 7 years ago. Changed my trip and headed to Athens instead of Turkey because of the situation there! You guys look like you are having an absolute blast. So happy for you guys. You have inspired me…..
